Motorhome at a favourable price: Excellent cooperation

Our goal was to visit the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia and then take a dip in the sea. Since we had been planning an affordable motorhome trip for a long time, this short, only 5-day trip seemed like just a trial run. I searched the internet for different options. I admit, at first I contacted a smaller company outside Bratislava, but the first interview did not convince me. I was interested in your website because it is perfectly designed, you learn everything you need to know and more. So we just had to get in touch with you. Our first contact and also the first meeting did not disappoint us. Everything was kept as we had agreed.

So we set off on a journey full of expectations. The man drove very comfortably and we made a few stops with the children without any problems. We found your recommendation on the Park4Night camping website near the town of Catrnja called Korana. We were very happy with the camp as it wasn’t crowded yet, just before the summer holidays. The sanitary facilities were per unit, a beautifully landscaped area with a restaurant, a shop and plenty of open space for children to play and run around. We stayed until early evening and in the morning we took the bus directly from the camp to the Plitvice Lakes, which were about 10 minutes away by bus. I bought tickets for the lakes online two days in advance so we wouldn’t have to wait at the box office. I can recommend it to everyone 🙂 The lakes did not disappoint us, beautiful corners, emerald green water, waterfalls, wooden benches above the lake… Parade. Option to take a sightseeing train or boat, option to hang out on a boat. It was a wonderful experience for us and the children, and in the evening we were pleasantly tired and had beautiful memories. I admit I didn’t cook in the caravan, as it would have been a bit more difficult with the restless children, so the caravan offered us a comfortable place to sit after dinner somewhere in a restaurant. The most beautiful experience for me was watching the fireflies in the evening, of which there were many. I have never seen so many fireflies before; late in the evening, it looked like a night sky around us 🙂
The next day, after walking along another part of the Plitvice Lakes, we slept well and comfortably in a caravan and set off for the sea. We looked for a route as close as possible to the Plitvice Lakes so that we wouldn’t have to spend too much time travelling. We drove to the town of Senj. We had a beautiful view in the mountainous part of Croatia and saw the sea. North of Senj, we found a campsite. We were thrilled with the pleasant, shady spot right by the sea, and there was an excellent restaurant, but when it came to showers and toilets, it was a real disaster. So we used the shower in the caravan for a quick refreshment and slept here. But the night was terrible because no one can control the weather. The wind was blowing terribly and in the gusts I was afraid we would tip over. Fortunately, the children slept and nothing bad happened, but in the morning I was happy when we left. We found a campsite called Raca south of Senj. A great campsite with all the necessary facilities, clean, beautiful, playground, restaurant. You can park right by the sea or across the road in a larger area. We ended up in the sea and set off for home the next day. Again, we had a few pleasant breaks with chilled drinks and refreshments straight from the fridge in the caravan 🙂
