The year 2025 has come to an end, and the new season, 2026, is approaching. For Flying Dog Car Rental, this will be the 11th season. Is that a lot or a little? More than a thousand satisfied customers, almost 200 caravans sold, 2 stolen caravans, a wealth of experience, enthusiasm in working with our customers, many of whom have already become friends. We love our business – honestly!
As always, we don’t rent out caravans in winter; they sleep under their Gore-Tex blankets in our car park. Winter is a period when we actively work on our websites, work with early birds – customers who are already booking for the summer, but also actively sell off our caravans from last year. Yes, Flying Dog uses motorhomes for only one year, then sells them while they are still new, smelling fresh, not stale, with a warranty and minimal mileage.
Right now, we are in the midst of a sales campaign.
We offer VERY attractive prices, and we can afford to do so: we are a small family business, not a big monster, so we have lower costs and therefore lower prices. We are not greedy ), and we have a clear goal: to sell ALL of last year’s motorhomes, because … we have already ordered brand new ones!
They will arrive at the beginning of March and early April, and after all the accessories (camera, air conditioning, solar panels, bike racks, etc.) have been installed, they will take you on trips all over Europe! So that in November 2026, they will stop again and start looking for new owners, and again leave to live with new people, and in March 2027, the next new caravans will arrive, and the life cycle will repeat itself… The philosophy of life. And of our business.

There are also several vans parked in our car park waiting for new owners. Some of them are slightly used, but there is also a luxurious new van with an opening roof. If I had been offered to sleep in a tent on the roof when I was a child, I would have died of happiness, I can tell you that for sure!
And here: a tent! On the roof!
With a mattress, double, and you can lie there hugging your child, looking at the stars, and telling them stories from your childhood… What could be more beautiful! Perhaps these are phantom memories, but I remember lying with my father in an old canvas tent, and he would tell me stories about the stars, Greek gods, and dinosaurs… This is one of my fondest childhood memories.
And it is precisely these moments that we remember for the rest of our lives, even when our fathers are no longer with us, and we ourselves are fathers… but we still want to be children.
It is precisely to create such moments that the ‘Time Machine’ exists – a caravan in which you can travel back to your childhood memories and create the best moments for your children.
It’s also a life cycle. It’s also a philosophy of life.
